Rubee Apis

The red propolis from Alagoas is produced by bees from the resin exuded by the rabo-de-bugio plant (Dalbergia ecastophyllum), along with salivary secretions, wax, and pollen.

It has a unique chemical composition, containing 4 isoflavonoids (formononetin, medicarpin, vestitol, and isoliquiritigenin) not simultaneously found in any other type of propolis worldwide, making it one of the most rare and valued. It is used in the treatment of a wide range of diseases and antimicrobial agents, possessing high antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antitumor, antiparasitic, and immunomodulatory potential. It contains isoflavones, with estrogenic activity important for women in menopause, aiding in climacteric symptoms, offering cardiovascular benefits, and combating osteoporosis.
